YCD Admin - Reset Parent's password
If a Parent has forgotten their password, admin can assist the parent by creating a temporary password and then encouraging the parent to update it to a password they will remember as soon as they are able to.
1. Click on the little shield button on the top right of the screen, then select Access Requests.
Change the status from Open to All.
Type the parent's first name, last name, or email to search for them.
Click on the three dots to the right of the parent's details then choose Reset Password.
You are then able to choose a new password for the parent.
Please note that the password must contain the following:
- Minimum 8 characters.
- Dont start with a number.
- Include a special character
- one CAPITAL letter.
Please note: Parents are able to change their own password in the parent app by either choosing 'Forgot password' in the sign in screen, or by going to Account>Change Password
